Thanks for the memories.......

Doña Consuelo (Tia Soling) Villegas de Tiongson, at 98, was conferred the impressive Oldest Living Paulinian Award during the centennial of St. Paul University of Dumaguete in October, 2004.  Part of the proud 150-strong Tanjay Chapter delegation who proudly accompanied her to the ceremonies include Annie Oracion-Ligo, Amay Calumpang-Guath, Teresita Calumpang, Odelia Calumpang-Zerna, Sally Pastor-Muñoz, Teresita Villaflores and favorite granddaughter Lulu Tiongson. (two months later in December, Tia Soling peaceful and serene, went to claim her eternal reward and touched the face of God.)

In one of her last photos Edna, teasingly disregards instructions, turns her face to our direction and gives us a last affectionate glance and her usual cheerful smile we will always remember... and then it was goodbye, forever!
