College in Marikina, with very lovely daughter Valerie (who is a
ground stewardess with Northwest Airlines in Manila), Si Joy Garcia-
Jimenez who came with hubby (duna ba ta'y la-ing Iningles ug "husband?")
Ading and son Paulo. Joy and Ading are still with PAL. May
mga kasing-kasing nga naga-tagub-tub ni-adtong gabbi-ona..... eng-eng-eng.

Glorious reunion, atter so many years, we see each other

Diha pud si Evalina Señeris-Mantes, nga nag-true confession
kabahin sa iyang mga... bitaw, mingaw kono dinhi sa Amerika (sa Tsikago),
and she is planning to go back to Tanjay sa Holy Week pohon for a long
visit... Lami kaayo ang pagka-on, kay ka-daghang kusinera: Si Virgie, Evalina
(with her peborit adobo recipe), Danny, Badingding, and Lillian (who showed
us how to cook pansit nga short-cut. Kani bang wala ta'y mga meeds, ipang-short-cut
na lang ang tanang mga housework, no?).

Melo Teves now recovering - Thank you for your prayers,
kay Si Melo intawon is recovering from serious injuries she suffered from
that car accident a few months ago. She has regained consciousness and
is now undergoing therapy. Melo, speedy recovery gayud harong maka-tilaw
na pud mi sa imong binakhaw!

An Interesting Book on Anhing Gerry Gil's
Writings - The book, Wordsmith with a Slingshot, has just been published
in Manila. It is edited by Jaime Ong, who is a Senior VP at San
Miguel, with an introduction by Cipriano Roxas, who is the editor-in-chief
of the Manila Standard. A sampler: "...the condom was
the perfect symbol for the Marcos regime, for it stopped production, created
inflation, and gave you a false sense of security while you were being
screwed."
