Letters, Mr. & Ms. Special Edition

Thank you for reprinting (Special Edition, Mar. 14-20) Corky Trinidad’s cartoons from the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. I especially liked the one with the masked bandits relaxing with their loot on Waikiki Beach with the caption, "They lived happily ever after."

It’s just too bad that of Mr. Marcos’ henchmen, only one was readily identifiable -- the ursine Ver. I would have enjoyed identifying the equine Benitez, the bovine Cojuangco, the vulpine Manotoc, the feline Imee, and the porcine Imelda all supine around the "lupine" Ferdinand Marcos.
