Your report that Mr. Vicente Chuidan is being thrown out of the Asian Reliability Corporation, Inc. (ARCI) by President and Mrs. Marcos (Veritas, Mar. 17) comes as no surprise.

If in fact it was Mr. Chuidan who gave an ARCI credit card to Minister Jolly Benitez, Mr. and Mrs. Marcos have every justification in the world for ousting Mr. Chuidan.

Mr. Benitez is, after all, the man who has amassed a record P13.5 million in advances at the Ministry of Human Settlements. To give a credit card to such a credit risk is the height of managerial irresponsibility.
