With growing dismay, I have noticed the progressive deterioration in the relevance, logic, evidence, clarity, style, wit, and over-all quality of the articles written by Mr. Hilarion Henares, Jr.

His latest piece comparing Mr. Vicente Jayme with one John Riggins (Special Edition, Mar. 8-14) shows a drop in quality more drastic than I had projected in my most pessimistic extrapolations.

Through your magazine I would urge Mr. Henares to see his doctor for a thorough check-up as soon as possible. Such progressive intellectual deterioration may indicate lupus.
