Mr. Fabian T. Ocampo
People’s Forum
Sir:

Though I do not consider myself a particularly religious man, I feel I must protest the depths of blasphemy to which the "Ateneo alumni debating society" has descended (People’s Forum, Feb. 26).

It is one thing for these Ateneo Alumni to debate whether the principles inculcated by the parochial-school education dished out by the Ateneo demand opposition to the Marcos government.

But it is a totally different thing to sign a letter with the name of Jesus Christ.

If anything, an Ateneo education should be taught, "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord, thy God, in vain."
