What really pisses me off about the prospect of Gen. Fabian Ver’a reinstatement (Veritas, Mar. 17) is the fact that Mr. Luis D. Beltran is going to have the last laugh on his tormentors -- Odette Alcantara (nov. 18), Alfredo Mendoza, Isabel Caro Wilson, A. M. Hidalgo, Fulgencio Factoran, Jr., and Taking Lanzana (Nov. 25), not to mention those among his former students who believe he should rename his column, "Selling patis in the streets."
