Sir:

I felt a deep sense of outrage upon learning from brig. Gen. Andres B. Ramos (BT, Nov. 25) that of the 4,000 signatures on the petition condemning military abuses in Quezon province, at least 528 had been forged or solicited under false pretenses.

This pattern of mendacity and deceit, which we have come to expect from the subversive elements in our society, deserved everybody’s condemnation.

The last time I burned with such moral indignation was when some people forged the signature of Brig, Gen. Ramon J. Farolan to a manifesto which they paid to have printed in your newspaper.
