Dear Editor:

Mr. Joaquin P. Roces is concerned about whether the number of foreign-trained Filipinos who will return to our shores will be large enough to enable our country to take full advantage of the latest advances in science and technology.

I invite Mr. Roces to look at the mess created by such foreign-trained Filipinos as Cesar Virata, Jaime Laya, Onofre Corpuz, Roberto Ongpin, and Conrado Benitez.

Having done so, he will understand why I do not share his concern.
