Although I have little use for crony firms, I will be the first to recognize that a number of them give good service and on that basis, deserve to be patronized.

I have always considered Rustan’s to be in this category.

Your story about Rustan’s reneging on a prize for one of its contests (MALAYA, Jan. 29) forces me to reverse my favorable opinion of this firm.
