Women for the Ouster of Marcos through Boycott (WOMB) want to know what name they would give to the coffee shop and lending library they have opened (Veritas, May 11).

I assume they would want to keep the WOMB acronym.

If the coffee shop is to be the watering hole for WOMB people waxing nostalgic about what they did during the anti-Marcos struggle, they could name it, "We Once Mounted a Boycott" (which is more truthful than the more impressive "We Ousted Marcos through Boycott").

I suggest "We Offer Merienda with Books" which truly reflects the business they’re in. Though modest, it’s far classier than "Women Operating a Merienda Business."
