MALAYA

Adrian Cristobal, former chairman of the Social Security Commission, is angry because he has been prevented from carrying away his personal papers and belongings.

People who don’t read MALAYA attribute Mr. Cristobal’s vehemence on this issue to his concern about the sensitive documents which former President Marcos entrusted to him.

We readers of MALAYA know better. We know that the papers intercepted so far include "two boxes of porno magazines" (MALAYA, Feb. 28). And we sympathize with Adrian’s desire to keep the public in ignorance about his tastes in reading matter.
