We may moan and groan about the way the Thais "cheated" at the Asian Games ("Fancy this," MALAYA, Jan 6) . . . but what about the way we "won" the Asian basketball crown?

If the Thais had won the basketball championship with a team including two or three Americans who had acquired Thai citizenship the way Ronnie Nathanielsz was given Filipino citizenship, would we have not screamed to high heavens?
