Dear Editor:
While I am all for the REFORM AFP Movement, I have to be realistic (and
therefore, pessimistic) about its claims of success. The overstaying generals,
their favorites, and all the other people who have thrieved under the previous
dispensation (and therefore, have a vested interest in it) can be expected
to fight this movement. I fear that the officers and men in the REFORM
AFP Movement may end up reforming themselves into the FORMER AFP Association.
