I strongly believe that an organization should disband once its objectives have been met. And so, when Women for the Ouster of Marcos through Boycott (WOMB) started thinking about a self-liquidating project, I felt that self-liquidation should have been the first idea to occur to them.

Though I am not especially sympathetic towards the perpetuation of WOMB through a coffee shop/lending library (Veritas, May 11), I am enough of a good sport to respond to call made by Maita Gomez and her coffee-shop coterie for suggestions as to what to name the place.

How about "Women Owing Maita for Barako" (WOMB)?
