The United States Education Foundation has been calling for applications for fellowships at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The USEF should offer some of these grants to Dr. Vicente Valdepenas, Mr. Roberto Ongpin, and other qualified Marcos partisans. Since Harvard and Cornell Universities gave fellowships to Ninoy Aquino and Raul Manglapus, respectively, fairness demands that similar opportunities be given to some of the worthier colleagues of the man at Hickam Air Force base.

All that I ask is that Ronnie Nathanlielsz be accommodated under the Sri Lankan, rather than the Philippine quota for fellowships.
