I cannot understand why students and faculty members of the San Beda School want to expel Rita Gaddi-Baltazar for her broadcast activities during the last election (PDI, Mar. 20). In the same spirit with which we exhibit Mrs. Imelda Marcos’ most intimate belongings as reminders of the shameful past, San Beda should retain (and even treasure) Mrs. Gaddi who was, after Joly Benitez, the former First Lady’s most prized possession.
