Rene Soliman’s story on the Partido Komunista ny Pilipinas (PKP) and the major role of the Lava family (VERITAS, Jan. 19) drove home a point who irony only now I have come to appreciate.

If the PKP had triumphed, we would today be ruled by a dynasty!
