Alfredo A. Yuson’s "Trivia quiz on the revolution" (MT, Mar. 25) is not only a waste of space on the editorial page. It also suggests:

1. The intellectual bankruptcy of Mr. Yuson, who has obviously run out of word games to play;

2. The moral bankruptcy of those donors who see Yukon’s game as far worthier of support than the many other ‘causes" all of us are aware of; and

3. The editorial bankruptcy of the "The Manila Times" which is lending its name to this stupid game (if it has any place in the "Times" at all, that place is the entertainment, not editorial, page).

Talk about decadence.

It was for this kind of trivialization that people faced tanks?
