Though I have little use for Mr. Maximo V. Soliven as a columnist, I must confess my admiration for him as a publisher and executive.
I am sure he must have received numerous complaints about Lita T. Logarta whose handling of "The People’s Watch" tells us that she can’t tell the difference among a serious suggestion, a legitimate complaint, a factual correction, and a wisecrack.
Yet, he has enough "delicadeza" not to replace her with his daughter, Ethel Soliven-Timbol, who needs to be rescued from the foundering Manila Bulletin.
