UPSCA stands for University of the Philippines Student Catholic Action. This organization has existed from pre-war times to the present.  Over the years, membership has reportedly ranged from a high of a few thousand to just a handful at the lowest. From within that group who entered college in the late 50s, sets of friends have maintained close contact with each other. Starting from the early 90s, the internet played a big part in keeping them in touch. This cyber group of UPSCAns, known as the Loop, are about 150 strong, and span the college years from the late 50s to the mid 60s. A good number of these friends happened to be in Los Angeles, and they did have parties when the occasions arose, especially when visiting UPSCAns were passing through.  On Christmas 1994, a printout of names and addresses of these friends was distributed, and this eventually started the UPSCA newsletters.  Below is a listing of all the 17 issues over a 20 year period, followed by all the newsletters. Most of the issues were produced as b&w hardcopy, and mailed out to the members.  These have been have been scanned to PDF.  The last two issues were electronic files in color, emailed out to members.
